Xerox VersaLink C415
The VersaLink C415 is a mid-range workgroup device with a solid chassis designed for shared office use. The build reflects a device intended to handle 5,000 to 10,000 pages a month without issue. Its maximum monthly duty cycle of 125,000 pages provides substantial headroom above typical usage, meaning the mechanism is not under significant mechanical strain in a normal office environment. It sits within the broader VersaLink range, Xerox's core A4 office line, and benefits from the parts availability and engineer familiarity that comes with being an established model.
Xerox C325
The Xerox C325 is a lighter, more compact device positioned at the lower end of the commercial colour MFP range. It is built for small offices and desktop placement, and its maximum duty cycle of 65,000 pages per month reflects this. For teams printing under 2,000 pages a month, this presents no problem — the device will not be stressed. At higher volumes, the C415's more robust construction and larger duty cycle headroom become a more appropriate match for the workload.

Standard configuration on the VersaLink C415 includes a 250-sheet paper tray and a 100-sheet bypass tray, giving 350 sheets straight out of the box. Optional additional 500-sheet trays can bring the total to 1,450 sheets, reducing the frequency of reloading in busy environments. The bypass tray handles a range of media weights and sizes for envelopes, labels and heavier stock without needing a separate device. This level of capacity suits offices printing throughout the day across multiple users.
Xerox C325
The Xerox C325 ships with a 250-sheet paper tray and a single-sheet manual feed slot. An optional 550-sheet tray and 100-sheet multipurpose feeder can be added to take the maximum to 901 sheets. For a small team printing routine documents, the standard 250-sheet tray is adequate between refills. Businesses with higher volume requirements or multiple paper types in daily rotation will find the C415's greater standard capacity and more flexible tray options more convenient in practice.

The VersaLink C415 supports optional finishing through an add-on stapler unit, allowing automatic stapling of multi-page documents directly from the device. This is practical for offices regularly producing reports, proposals or internal documentation. Hole punching is also available as an optional add-on. If your team regularly processes output for filing or binding, the C415 can be configured to handle this without manual intervention at the printer.
Xerox C325
The Xerox C325 does not offer stapling or hole punching. Output is delivered to a standard output tray without any finishing capability. For the majority of small office print jobs — general correspondence, internal documents, single-page output — this is not a limitation. If stapling or finishing is a regular requirement in your workflow, this is the one area where the C415 provides a clear functional advantage over the C325.

The VersaLink C415 runs the full Xerox ConnectKey app platform, giving direct integration with Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox and Box. Third-party apps can be installed from the Xerox App Gallery. The 7 inch touchscreen makes navigating multi-step scan-to-cloud workflows straightforward for staff who use these features regularly. NFC tap-to-pair is built in alongside USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Remote management is supported via Xerox Fleet Orchestrator and Configuration Cloning tools, which is particularly useful if you manage more than one device across your business.
Xerox C325
The Xerox C325 connects via USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi and supports cloud scanning to platforms including Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive. Its 4.3 inch touchscreen is functional for straightforward print and scan tasks. The device does not run the ConnectKey ecosystem, so app installation and advanced workflow automation are not available. For small offices with straightforward print, copy and scan needs this is rarely a constraint. Where workflows involve regular scan-to-cloud routing or integration with document management platforms, the C415's ConnectKey ecosystem offers considerably more flexibility.

The VersaLink C415 carries a higher monthly lease cost than the C325, typically starting from around £55 to £75 per month depending on contract length and volume commitment. The device's higher duty cycle and greater paper capacity also reduce the hidden cost of consumables replenishment and the likelihood of engineer callouts that can affect less specified devices running above their recommended volume.
Xerox C325
The Xerox C325 is the more cost-effective option at entry level, with lease costs typically starting from around £25 to £40 per month. For businesses printing low to moderate colour volumes, the running costs under a managed print contract are straightforward and predictable. If print volumes grow beyond 2,000 colour pages per month, the cost per page may become less favourable than on the higher-specified C415, and the device will be working harder than its recommended volume. Choosing a device matched to your volume from the outset avoids unnecessary wear and higher long-term costs.
